Book Wrap & Merchandise Design
This project was created while pursuing my Digital Arts degree. I worked collaboratively with classmates to design an original character illustration & compelling backstory - Frank the Traveling Octaman was born. Frank is an interdimensional Octopus forever chasing summertime and warmer waters. He disguises himself to fit in with the humans by changing his skin color & outfits. He travels anywhere in the universe using his magic conch shell.
Using these colorful specs as my design prompt, I created a full book jacket and merchandise design. I created products like pillows, apparel, and school supplies geared towards young children who would love this character. I used a combination of Adobe Ai, PS, and InDesign to curate the designs. I then used Placeit.net to create realistic product mockups.
