Magazine & Merchandise Design
This project was completed while in pursuit of my Digital Arts Degree.
I created this 20+ page travel guide for a fictional magazine called OC Dezin'd using a combination of Photoshop & InDesign.
The travel guide includes two page spreads of where to eat, play, and be entertained in OC. I wanted the magazine to have a high end feel so I used appropriate fonts and colors that would speak to OC residents. I put a play on topography by including titles in extra large scale, and drew visual attention by adding in lots of colorful images to support technical text.
I built on the magazine brand by creating the slogan "Just a Little Bit OCD".
I used this phrase to create apparel like shirts & sweatshirts and accessories like tote-bags.
